It was impoprtant to the Bradford group that the Big Blockade was not going to mark the end of a year long campaign but I mile stone in the fight to stop the nuclear weapons program here. After a fantastic day on the 1st we were up at 5 to head back to Faslane at 6 on the morning of the 2nd. We drove up to the roundabout and there were aproximately 4 police there a considerable difference compared to the day before. The blockades and support on the first minibus leapt out of 3 doors on the bus and ran towards the road throwng paint over thier heads. With a terrifying screram Nina who was sportingn a nice green colour was thrown to the floor by an officer allowing the other six to get in possision outside the gate. A banner was placed stating faslane 366 to be continued. The police were not pleased and mn handled supporters behind the fences at the side of the road. The six in the road superglued thier hands and handcuffed together. Blue barriers were errected around the protesters and the gate was fully opened so that one lane of traffic could crawl into the base. The blockade was held until about 8 in the morning and the blockaders were released at about 7 in the evening after which the remaining Bradford group spent the night in the Peace Camp bus which they were much appreciative for.
