Anti-nuclear protesters arrested
Five anti-nuclear protestors have been arrested at the Faslane submarine base near Helensburgh.
Those arrested include two survivors of the atomic bomb attacks on Nagasaki in Japan in 1945.

5 detained after peaceful ‘Bamboo Blockade’ as Japanese A-bomb survivors appeal to Britain to get rid of Trident
At around 2.30 pm today (July 25), Strathclyde police arrested 10 people, including atomic bomb survivors (‘Hibakusha’) from Nagasaki during a nonviolent blockade of the main gates of the Faslane nuclear base in Scotland, where the UK’s Trident nuclear weapons are deployed.

Two Nagasaki survivors are among protesters arrested outside Faslane
Four Japanese protesters were arrested yesterday as they blockaded a Trident nuclear base ....two of whom are atom bomb survivors, linked themselves together with bamboo sticks and sat in the road in front of Faslane base, near Helensburgh.
