The vigil lasted from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
At 2:00pm 25 people gathered next to the North Gate. We prayed, sang and read from the Holy Bible. A mini procession was formed to take statements made by the Christian demoninations and place them against the fence of the naval base.

At a packed meeting in Central London on Saturday, Pax Christi members and supporters honoured and acknowledged the work of six peacemakers of our time whose work spans from Northern Ireland to Iraq and the UK.

A series of faith-based protests are being staged at the naval base where Britain's nuclear submarine fleet is based....On Sunday,... Footprints for Peace interfaith walk will... head for the base.
