Faslane Highland Games on 30 July

The Assynt Peace Group is coming back to Faslane on 30 July and once again we'll bring a wee taste of the Highlands. This time it's the Faslane Highland Games. We'll have all the traditional sports - toss the caber, putt the haggis, the egg and spoon race - plus some special events especially for Faslane. We will have a tug of peace, there will be the obligatory refreshments tent, there will be marching to pipes and drums and it will all be led by our Chieftain, Angus John McEwan, veteran of the Faslane 365 blockade, who brings years of experience as secretary of the Assynt Games.
