Eight arrested at Faslane protest
Eight people have been arrested during an anti-nuclear protest at the Faslane naval base on the Clyde, police said.

The protesters were among a group of 25 people from Friends of the Earth Flanders and Brussels, according to organisers.

The demonstration was carried out as part of the Faslane 365 year-long blockade.

According to the group, those arrested included people from Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Finland and the Netherlands.
