German Group Blockades Road to Faslane for Three Hours

A group of 25 people from Germany blockaded the road between Helensburgh and Her Majesty's Naval Base in Faslane,Scotland on March 28th stopping all traffic for almost three hours. All 25 protesters got arrested by the police for breach of peace. Their aim was to keep as many people as possible from going to their work places on the nuclear submarine base and not letting them doing their deadly work of preparing mass murder.

On March 28th twenty five activists from Germany blocked the road with lock-on’s to Faslane’s nuclear weapons Trident base, protesting against the illegally planned modernization of the British nuclear weapons system. All of us decided to take the risk of 36 hours in Scotland’s prisons.

Twenty-five Germans blocked the A814 South of Faslane from 7am to 10am Wednesday morning, causing a massive tailback. They made a consensus decision to act as one group, and determined to block the main road because police would have prevented them from blockading the main gate to the base.
