Anton's report
We had made some cylinders that we had our arms locked together inside, and some flags and a lot of music. Much too early (for my beutysleeping) we went up and we got to the Faslane base around half past six in the morning, only two polices were at the north gate! But then we heard that the Finnish people (who were at the south gate) ended up with nearly hundred polices, so we understood why the north gate only had 2 of them left for us..
We blockaded the gate for maybe 2 hours, and the police got a huge job sawing our cylinders away, so that is a great tips to other groups, but make them in iron, 'because plastic is a very "easysawing" material.
We were taken to the prison and locked inside our cells maybe 'round 11 o clock. Some were held together, some were alone. We thought that we would be released at one o' clock the day after, but when this didn´t happened we were all a bit scared to be at the cells for another night. About 3 o' clock my friend in the same cell as me, Tuukka (finish), asked for a magazine, and he got it. BUT! Inside the magazine it was a lot f pictures at very good looking (no, not girls) but FOOD! And that was really horrible for me to stand, 'because I really love food, and even if the food in the prison was good tasting, you didn´t get much of it..
So, after a few more hours of waiting (and looking at the food in the magazine) we had been there for 33 hours and we get released into freedom. The first thing I got was a huge cake to eat. The only bad thing to be in the prison was that you couldn´t have your earrings with you so one of my holes in my ear totally was gone when I got out, but it ended up well, one of my friends, Olov, turned up to be a good piercer so he just made a new hole to me (for free, he is a very good friend) but it did hurt a bit.
So, the point for the blockade is: Use cylinders or other things to get the arresting take long time, be sure you can be without your earrings for a day or two, and most important of all, eat a lot of food before you get arrested (you will spend a lot of time thinking about that food when you are put inside your cell).
